On sunday I (Emma) walked up Monte Tarn with some friends. Carlos stayed at home to write his PhD. Monte Tarn is south of Punta Arenas and the walk starts from the beach. This pic is looking south down the mainland across the Magellan Strait to the southern islands. The little dots are Stefan and Cecilia who were a bit quicker up the steep bits than me :o)

But this is to prove that I did get there
